Making a career in photography can be a difficult business. While carving out the route to your own success in photography, it helps to have guidance from people who know the business from the inside out. Frank Meo, a top photo representative with 25 years of experience, and the founder of thephotocloser.com, is someone whose brain you would want to pick if you’re an up-and-coming photographer.

On Thursday, September 6th, you can do just that. From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the B&H Event Space in New York City, Meo will give insight into the art of creating the perfect photo bid. Straightforwardly named “How to Prepare and Present an Estimate,” the talk will draw from Meo’s experience estimating hundreds of jobs, providing a creative, thorough “breakdown” of how an estimate is pieced together, negotiated, and presented. He will also explain what happens after a bid is accepted, the nuts and bolts of following up and billing. Not only that, Meo will reveal how to stand out from your bidding competitors.

The B&H Event Space offers a variety of educational workshops and lectures from photography, video, and audio pros around the world, completely free of charge. The B&H Event Space is located at 420 9th Ave, New York, NY 10001, on the second floor of the B&H Super Store. Too see the event schedule, visit to the website here.
