Dedicated to maintaining the artistic integrity of photography, Insight Editions is known for its elegance, lavishness, and unique layouts. Author Sean O’Hagan presents Mercury’s prolific career to an unprecedented scale in this page-turner which includes snapshots from his life as a child growing up in Zanibar, in addition to photos of him fronting Queen .

Also included in the book is an hour-long 1980‘s recording of Mercury’s interview with ‘Off the Record’ radio host Mary Turner about his life, his background and what it was like being in one of the world’s biggest bands. Marley has been captured by Time magazine photographer David Burnett who was on assignment in Jamaica in 1976.

Witnessing Bob Marley at his Tuff Gong home in Kingston, Jamaica, and then on the start of the seminal Exodus tour., Burnett offers both the zenith of Marley’s career and the traumatic upheaval of his flight from Jamaica after an attempt on his life. For any reggae lover or music history buff, Bob Marley offers a matchless glimpse into the legend’s life at home.
