DESCRIPTION: While the motto of the season is “out with the old and in with the new,” this issue of Resource presents the goods unearthed from a successful Spring cleaning: Robert Whitman’s 25 Polaroids from his wild house parties in the eighties. While Whitman’s old abode served as a kind of impromptu studio for his shots, there are many more work spaces out there for photographers to choose from. The Complete Studio Guide of 2012 showcases these amazing studio spaces, located in major US cities, from San Francisco to Miami. Indeed, some artists like to fill a space with their images. Jesse Newman, on the other hand, creates his own world(s) with them.
