1) What you’ll need: a large, sturdy cardboard box; a few 14×17 inch sheets of tracing paper; 1 or 2 sheets of Bristol board; a knife; scotch tape.
2) Cut holes in three sides of the box the size of your tracing sheets. (Tip: trace the pad on the box beforehand and then cut about 1 cm inside the line you traced)
3) Tape the sheets of tracing paper onto the box, covering the holes.
4) Stick some sheets of Bristol board on the inside to create the backdrop (if you don’t have Bristol board, any thick, white paper will work).
That’s it! Your light box is complete. Now just position the lights however you want them, place your subject inside the box, and begin shooting.
