Timing is everything–and this is especially true in photography. There isn’t a dull moment for Emily Robinson, a photographer who has found her mojo in shooting pregnancies, children, deliveries and all the in between. She shoots the fleeting moments of a baby’s first cry, bath time and the mysterious language between siblings. Childbirth is a natural painful process; however, she makes it look serene and appealing. On what started out as a normal tag along, Robinson captures a speedy delivery of Amy Beth before she ever set foot inside the hospital. Her husband stood in amazement at the genesis of his new baby girl: quickly and without complication, Sienna exited the womb and took her first breath.
Emily Robinson says it was the fastest, wildest (and probably most exhilarating) delivery she has witnessed. She was able to capture a moment and turn it into a miraculous memorable story.
