Are you a photographer with a good eye for shapes? Do you have a knack for finding geometric patterns in the world around you? If you’ve answered yes to these questions then look no further, because Resource’s Geometric Photography Contest is now accepting submissions!

Share your best Geometry related photographs with us before January 19th, 2014 and you could win an exposure bundle by Resource.  There will be a grand jury winner, and a people’s choice winner.  The grand jury winner will be featured on Resource Magazine’s website as well as the ViewBug blog, get an exclusive interview, and receive 350 reward points.  The people’s choice winner will receive an exclusive interview in ViewBug, and will also receive 350 reward points. You can also get an extra 500 reward points just by liking the contest on Facebook.

The contest will be judged by Jayesunn Krump, an award-winning photographer based in Portland, Oregon. He has extensive experience shooting in and outdoors, and has worked with all types of people including models, children, families, celebrities, and more. Krump tells us about how he got started in photography, saying, “I was born in the Midwest. As a touring musician, fell in love with the Pacific northwest and decided to make it my home. When I stopped touring and started a family I picked up a camera for the first time with a different eye. Shooting my first child really began my love affair with the camera.”

The rules of the contest are simple.  There is a limit of two entries per participant, and of course you must own all legal rights to the submitted photos.  Color, B&W, RAW and Medium formats are all accepted, and photos will be judged based on creativity, originality, and in accordance with the theme of geometry.

Check out the contest home page here! Almost 800 images have already been submitted; check out the competition by clicking on the entries tab on the contest homepage.  The contest closes on January 19th, so grab your cameras and get going!
