Since the dawn of the Internet, online design boards have been key for artists attempting to gain feedback on specific ideas. Now, Morpholio, a company that creates innovative apps for artists, is unveiling their latest product: the Morpholio Board App. Ciara Seymour, the co-creator of The Morpholio Project, stated that the app is “broadening their impact and potential with a brand new platform that combines intuitive and accessible layout features with a killer library of over 1000 top-notch curated design products.”

Now, to accomplish this innovating idea, Morpholio collaborated with some of the biggest names in the field: the likes of Herman Miller, Knoll, 3Form, Porcelanosa and many others provided important feedback to ensure the best product. Co-Creator, Anna Kenoff, stated, “this is a tool created with and for the interior designer that we absolutely hope will be co-opted by pinners, bloggers, design enthusiasts and creative’s of all types.”

But how exactly does the Morpholio Board work? It has several key features that will supposedly “free up the creative thinking.” Basically, the many features allow any artist the ability to creative a rough sketch of their intended project and garner feedback as quickly as possible.

The process starts with features like “Gallery,” “Tag It” and “Conference Table,” which enable the artist to find their necessary items as quickly as possible: but also keeps everything logged and easy to find, in a beautifully organized interface. Then “The Portal” and “Entourage,” features enable anyone to grab web art from sites like Pinterest or Morpholio’s own stock: and “Illustrate” gives them the ability to add notes or even sketch over said images. Finally, “Broadcast” helps the user to then share their design through social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or even through Email.

Needless to say, the Morpholio Board is leaps and bounds ahead of other available design boards. But best of all, this app is available for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod touch: which “takes an established professional design tool and opens it up to a mass audience, thereby elevating both.” So if you want to buy and use the Morpholio Board, it is currently available for free in the iTunes store.
