On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Eclectic Encore Props celebrated its studio opening at its brand new location in Long Island City, Queens. With a seemingly infinite supply of food platters, wine and beer, partygoers traveled through the 95,000 sq. foot maze of props through the main studio room where portraits were snapped and printed on site by ProPhoto. Other sponsors included New York Moves Magazine, Adorama Rentals, APA and Resource Magazine, of course.
The party was hosted by Suri Bieler, Eclectic’s founder and a woman who knows the space down the very first prop ever acquired. Throughout the evening, she brought groups on exclusive tours of the massive space, showing things you’d expect like furniture and carpets, to oddities such as suits of armor and old-school computers.
