We’re excited to announce the release of “The Startup Issue” of Resource Magazine. This time around, we tracked down 12 CEOs, startup gurus and marketing legends—from best-selling author Ryan Holiday to Head of UX Design at Shutterstock Mark Sherrill—uniting them in a recreation of The Last Supper painting. Simply put, we’ve come to the idea that we’re a part of an age on innovation—flourishing arts, technology and philosophical evolution—not unlike the overall manner of the Renaissance era. We’re calling it the Startup Renaissance.

Our cover story, photographed by David Johnson, features this group of startup legends posed in a variation of classic Renaissance paintings. They each offer their most valuable piece of business advice. And to further satisfy your creative educational needs, this issue presents an interview with Lynda Weinman of Lynda.com, an entrepreneurial guide led by Sprouting Photographer and a shameless explanation for converting Snapchat your followers into customers by Professional Snapchatter MPlatco. Additionally, you’ll get the full story behind startup queen Tina Roth Eisenberg—a graphic designer illustriously known as swissmiss.

But of course, the issue is still packed tight with your usual Resource favorites: the annual Best Of feature, where we worked with photographer Greg Neumaier to shoot and highlight our favorite gear from 2014, as well as the next chapter in our Productions of the World article, where photographer Ryan Carville takes you on a spiritual passage through India. Other highlights include the scoop on how RØDE has become the household name in audio, all you need to know about affordably shooting 4K video and much, much more.

Pick up a copy at your local photo studio, newsstand or Barnes & Noble throughout the U.S. and Canada. You can also head over to the Resource Shop to have it shipped to your front door, or download our app and stay tuned for the release of our digital version on Apple Newsstand.
