On Wed., March 16 at 2 PM EST, globaledit—the leading workflow tool for creative operations Brands— is launching a new Creative Operations Essentials webinar series, sharing their expertise in a range of areas including, review and approval, asset management, and long term archive and search. It’s a series of five free webinars aimed at anyone who works in creative production, from ops managers to creative directors to photographers or videographers, and will be held on Wednesday of most weeks through April 20.

According to Lionelli, this series gives a sequential view of the creative production process from a photo or video perspective: it begins with an asset being captured, gets refined through review and approval, and is then distributed to the people who need it. Finally, the asset is archived, and the process starts over once a new project begins. With this, the initial webinar is focused on Great Asset Capture, followed by topics such as Fine-Tuning Your Creative Production Workflow and Maxing Out Your Metadata. Lionelli adds that although each webinar can be attended as a standalone course, the content is effectively cumulative, and most registrants sign up for every topic. In addition, the webinars will be taught by a lineup of creative operations experts from globaledit and Industrial Color—and there will be at least one surprise brand-based guest speaker to be announced.

The webinars are open to everyone—not just globaledit users. Lionelli explains that their focus is to educate professionals in a way that is agnostic to the technology and tools they are using. To put it simply: it’s an unbiased platform for creatives to learn how to optimize the execution of their projects and ideas.
