Challenged by Nike to answer what he would do if given the ability to walk on air (supposedly provided by the purchase of Nike VaporMax), photographer Benjamin Von Wong decided to turn the request on its head. Instead, he told Nike, he would “showcase ordinary people defying gravity 1,000 feet in the air.”
“As an artist, I always like to push things one step further.”
With a few self-imposed limitations: foregoing professional models for “everyday heroes,” standard fall harnesses for more form-fitting ones, and utilizing not one, but two skyscrapers, Von Wong got to work.
