This American photographer took a lot of self-portraits, shooting mostly in black and white while playing with different lighting techniques, before passing away at the young age of 22. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art thought it was time to share her work with the world and will showcase her art until February 2012. It’s sad to think that such a beautiful and talented young woman committed suicide, but something of hers carries on through these images.
