For all of you active, adventurous photographers out there, the PowerShot D20 is tricked out for your rugged lifestyle. It’s waterproof, shock-proof, and freeze-proof, with a button that makes it easy to quickly switch from normal mode to snow or underwater mode. Expected to ship in May for around $350, it will have a 3-inch LCD screen, GPS capabilities, 1080p full HD video, and a 5x optical zoom lens.

There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the leaked images of the new Olympus E-M5. However, with the   Olympus Corp.’s increasing financial and legal troubles   and the recent discussion of a bailout by SONY, who already produces a Mircro 4/3′s product in this range, how realistic is the release of this camera?  There is no doubt that Olympus’ past Micro 4/3′s releases, such as their PEN line of point shoots, have been a success but we remain skeptical.

  • A super fast auto-focus with 3D tracking capability
  • More art filters
  • MOV video format and PCM sound format
  • An external, weather sealed, GN10 flash

Whether or not the rumors are true, we’re always excited by an Olympus announcement and hope that this retro looking, beauty of a camera is the real thing.  The official announcement of the E-M5 has not even been whispered yet but we’ll keep you up to date.

For Antonio De Luca, the Berlin-based art director, 100 is the magic number. De Luca is credited with creating the 100 $HOW, a traveling art exhibit that features work from artists around the world. With the success of his 100 EURO show in Amsterdam last year, De Luca will be bringing the show to the states. Through February 24th, at the Wieden + Kennedy gallery in Portland, Oregon, you will be able to view and purchase art for only $100; half of the proceeds will go directly back to the artists while the other half goes to Mercy Corps charity. You do not want to miss out on the chance to see some amazing art and help out a great cause!
