The Whimsical World of Ryan Roberts

By Kathryn Turner

Ryan Roberts didn’t start out wanting to be a photographer; he graduated from Florida State with majors in both finance and real estate. So how did Mr. Roberts make the transition from real estate broker to photographer?  Through some extensive soul-searching trips to L.A., Miami and New York, Ryan found his true calling was photography. He hopped the first flight from Florida to New York, and has never looked back.

Ryan Roberts has just unveiled his new site, J.RyanRoberts, which has an extensive selection of his photo portfolios, ranging from editorial beauty shots to landscapes he took on location in California, New York, and New England.  He even displays his own personal collections which include: Wild New York (a take on Where the Wild Things Are), Mad New York (a take on Alice in Wonderland’s the Mad Hatter), and Shadows. He has even worked on shoots with both Katy Perry and the Onion Sportsdome.

Along with his new site, Ryan also has a blog titled The Truth of the Moment. Here, you can see more of Ryan’s work as well as his musings on other photo-related news. To see all of Ryan Roberts portfolio, visit www.jryanroberts.com
